Meredith Malone is a specialist in post-World War II art practices in Europe and the United States and global contemporary art. She has curated numerous exhibitions, including recent monographic exhibitions on the work of Adam Pendleton, Torkwase Dyson, Nicole Miller, Chitra Ganesh, and Christine Sun Kim, among others. Major thematic exhibitions curated include, Multiplied: Edition MAT and the Transformable Work of Art (2020), To See Without Being: Contemporary Art and Drone Warfare (2016), and Chance Aesthetics (2009). The catalogue accompanying Chance Aesthetics won the Midwest Art History society Award for Outstanding Catalogue for 2009. Current projects include exhibitions on the work of Kahlil Robert Irving and contemporary artistic engagement with seeds as crucial sites of plant-human-land relations. Malone received her PhD in art history from the University of Pennsylvania.
